He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Royce and Nellie Brooks Helton (Robinett); his wife Wilda Carol Whittle; and his brother Robert L. Helton. He is survived by: his children, Gregory D. Helton of Jefferson City and Tracy G. Topper (Stephen) of Evansville, IN.; his brother Dennis Helton (Carolyn) of Jefferson City; his grandsons, Noah Salke and Andrew Everett of Evansville, IN.; and his nephews, Justin and Zachary Helton.
