He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anton John and Marie Josephine Bexten (Mengwasser); his wife Sandy; his children, Tricha Gaines (Sam) and Shawn Bexten (Christie); his grandchildren, Zach Schmidt (Reagan), Ashley Lensing (Daniel), Logan Gaines, Chase Bexten (Callie), Dylan Gaines (Abby) and Trey Bexten; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Harlow, Paxton, Natalie, Noah and Harper; his siblings, Paul Bexten (Mary), Charles Bexten (Norma), Rita Dudenhoeffer (Richard), Genrose Maddox, Ralph Bexten (Mary Jane), Elsie Irvin (Gus) and Marilyn Curtit; and his brother-in-law Clayton Maddox.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to a charity of the donor's choice.
