He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Wheeler and Vivia Lee Wheeler (Briant). He is survived by: his wife Pamela F. Wheeler; his children, Amy Wheeler of California, Matthew Wheeler (Tabitha Flatt) of Linn and Christopher Wheeler of California; his siblings, Stephen Wheeler (Mary) of Lohman and Pam K. Wheeler of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Ryan Wheeler and Maddyson Wheeler; and his pet Penny. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; a host of great-nieces and nephews; one great-great niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospitals for Children, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
