He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Earl and Elva Frances McDaniel (Collins). He is survived by: his daughter Katelyn McDaniel of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Jonah McDaniel and Scarlett Elvalyn Hoelscher; his sister Joyce Smithmier (Steve) of Liberty; his nieces, Lisa Maher (Rob) and Erin Zubeck (Joe); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brady, Allison, Luke Maher, Madison and Andrew Zubeck; his stepchildren, Evie Gardner (Randy), Kaleb Howard (Lindsey) and Cody Howard (Heather); and his friend Lana Solomon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the McDaniel Grandchildren Educational Fund by mailing all donations to P.O. Box 95, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102.
