Judith Marie Lewis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Marie Lewis of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Saint Elizabeth, Missouri, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Conrad and Clara Catherine Jurgensmeyer (Fennewald); her brothers, Ambrose Jurgensmeyer and Robert Jurgensmeyer; and her siblings-in-law, Victor Wilde, Daniel Dubbert and Marjorie Jurgensmeyer.

She is survived by: her husband Larry; her children, Melissa Lorts (Trae) of Jefferson City, Kevin Lewis (Michelle) of Jefferson City and Carrie Hayes (Keith) of Jefferson City; her grandchildren, Ashten Lorts, Rylee Lorts, Alexandra Lewis, Clayton Lewis, Carson Hayes and Caroline Hayes; her siblings, Virgil Jurgensmeyer (Dee Dee), LaVerne Dubbert, Emogene Jurgensmeyer, Joe Jurgensmeyer (Millie), Arlene Kalaf (Linnie) and Charles Jurgensmeyer (Margaret); and her sisters-in-law, Viola Jurgensmeyer and Ruth Jurgensmeyer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The general public is welcome to attend the services while following social distancing guidelines.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Merida Foundation, the Cathedral of St. Joseph or to the American Cancer Association.
