He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Robert Shirley, Jr. and Norma Eloise Taylor Shirley. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl L. Shirley; his stepdaughters, Tammy Richter (Dewey Parker) and Kathy Dixon (Jim) of Madera, PA; his sister Jean Revis (Charles) of Marion, NC; his nephews, Robby Revis (Tierney) of Marion, NC and Tracy Revis (Kasey Canup) of Charlotte, NC; and his niece Stacy Silvers (Eddie) of Marion, NC. He is also survived by one great-niece; and four great-nephews.
