He was predeceased by: his parents, John Knollmeyer and Eleanor Ann Knollmeyer (Sturm). He is survived by: his children, Anna of Jefferson City, Joey of Jefferson City and Sarah of Jefferson City; his wife Janice Kammerich; and his siblings, John (Lori) of Linn, Tim (Tonya) of Bartlesville, Tom (Amy) of Jefferson City and Kriste Ludwig (Wayne) of St. Louis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
