He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schutzenhofer and Anna Mae Schutzenhofer (Williams); his wife Mary Francis Havel; and his siblings-in-law, Frederick Graves, Beverly Whitaker and Roland Klein.

He is survived by: his children, Richard Schutzenhofer of Atlanta, GA, Robert Schutzenhofer (Darla) of Fulton, MO, Lisa Eastman (Jack) of Jefferson City, MO and Mary Rene Schutzenhofer of Lake Ozark, MO; his grandsons, Ethan Schutzenhofer and Nate Schutzenhofer; his siblings, Norma Graves of Bradenton and Donald Schutzenhofer of Granite City; and his sister-in-law Barbara Klein of Waterloo, IL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
