He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Joseph and Anna Clara Schulte (Baumann); his great grandchild Cole Nilges; and his brothers, Albert Schulte, Bernard Schulte (LaVerne), Anton Schulte (Catherine) and Francis Schulte (Rosemary).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Richard Schulte (Roberta), Geralyn Brewer (Jeff), Stephen (Nancy), Karen Schnieders (Kevin), Brian Schulte (Fay) and Janel Schnieders (Pete); and his brother Alfred Schulte (Clara). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Martin Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus or to Helias Foundation.
