He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alexander and Betty Ann Lorenz (Croarkin); his daughter Nichole Ponder; his sister Jane Monk; his brothers-in-law, Richard Wolfe and Joe Miller; and his grandson Cole Ponder.
He is survived by: his sons, John "Ryan" Lorenz and Joseph Jaegers; and his siblings, Ron Lorenz (Judy), Bonnie Wolfe, Connie Cope (Greg), Annie Bird and Teresa Miller. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and two great grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Cathedral of St. Joseph.
