He was predeceased by: his son Anthony Shelton; his parents, Virginia Thompson and George Shelton; and his sisters, Leathoial Benson and Alice Wade.
He is survived by: his daughters, Latasha Miller (Shelby), Jonalyn Shelton and Christie Shelton (Tim); his siblings, Linda Thompson, Rhonda Thompson, Leon Thompson (Diane) and Kenneth Thompson (Marie); his friend Tracee Hayden; and also Tremarius Rayford. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that expressions of sympathy be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
