It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Allen Rockwell Jr. of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Kane, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 28, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen Rockwell, Sr. and Rachel Smith Owen; his grandson Evan Rockwell; and his sisters, Jean Wirt (Vernon), Madge Spivey (Vernon) and Mary Carlson.
He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn (Kidd); his children, John Brian Rockwell (LeAnn) of Jefferson City, Rebecca Carol Brandt (Kenny) of Jefferson City and Benjamin Allen Rockwell (Cheryl) of San Antonio, Texas.; his grandchildren, Megan Brondel (Nathan), John A. Rockwell, III, Hannah Rockwell, Christin Smith (Curtis Evans), Erika Smith, Elizabeth Rockwell and Andrew Rockwell; his great grandchildren, Quinn Evans, Hunter Evans and Theo Brondel; and his siblings, Alice Betsy Stone (W. J.), Walter Rockwell (Renee) and Richard Carlson.
The general public is welcome to attend the services while following social distancing guidelines.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
