He was predeceased by: his parents, William Walter and Mary Virginia Moody (Culver); his parents-in-law, Charles and Betty Shipley; and his pet Butters.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Moody of Jefferson City; his children, Chris Moody of Jefferson City and Beth Moody of Los Angeles, Calif.; his brother Michael Moody (Susie) of Anchorage, Alaska; his brother-in-law Butch Shipley (Debbie) of Jefferson City; his nieces and nephews, Brett Shipley (Gemma) of Jefferson City, Ryan Moody (Melissa) of Anchorage, Alaska, Lauren Shipley (Todd Scherr) of Jefferson City, Katie Moody of Seattle, Wash and Sarah Moody of Anchorage, Alaska; and his grandchildren, Samantha Moody-Walker (Damian Patterson) of Columbia and Ari James Moody of Jefferson City.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Freeman Chapel (915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
