She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Thomas and Mamie Burns (Green); her husband Charles Garvis Sutton; her daughter Janice Lynn; and her siblings, Robert Burns of Indianapolis, Mildred Rich, Butler and Mary Rood of Kansas City, Kansas..
She is survived by: her son Douglas; her daughter-in-law Deborah; her grandchildren, Nicholas Charles and Mary Kathryn; and her sister-in-law Malinda Sutton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that those who wish to express an act in Mrs. Sutton's memory should volunteer one day's service at a community-based organization. Otherwise, donations are suggested to be made to the Lebanon Pregnancy Support Center, the Red Cross, the Hughes Senior Citizens Center, and earmarked donations for literacy efforts within the Lebanon R-III School District.
