She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Bob L., Betty L. Steinmetz, Thomas J. and Mary June Cox. She is survived by: her parents, Larry Steinmetz and Donna Steinmetz of Jefferson City; and her brother Scott A. Steinmetz of Jefferson City. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Cody's Gift, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate and prevent substance use disorders as well was raise the awareness of mental health issues and coping skills.
