With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerome August Vitt (Jefferson City, Missouri), born in Washington, Missouri, who passed away on October 5, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Vitt and Marie Vitt (Van Horn); his wife Lucretia Vitt; and his brother James Vitt. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Lee Vitt Sr. (Sandy), Kirby Vitt, Candace Kroner (Steve) and Deborah Troutman (Ted); his sisters, Jackie Parmenter, Joan Speer (Randy) and Jeanette Putman; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Lee Vitt Jr., Stephanie Kroner, Katie Vitt, Jesse Vitt and Sarah Kroner. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Lung Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
