Janis Convery Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025, at the age of 78, Janis Convery of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janis Convery to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Atkinson and Margie Atkinson (Howser); and her brother Donald "Don" Atkinson. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Dana Rohrer (Mike) of Sedalia and James "Jim" Convery (Denise) of Jefferson City; her grandchildren, Janlyn Rohrer, Bryce Rohrer, Shane Convery, Kelsey Brandkamp and Shelby Convery; and her siblings, Gene Atkinson (Susan), Roger Atkinson (Linda) and Mary Ann Ruth. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Freeman Chapel (915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery - Jacksonville (1479 County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 65260).
