He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Wekamp and Frances Wekamp (Schulte); and his grandparents, Herman (Mamie Schulte) and Gertrude Wekamp. He is survived by: his wife Donna Sue Krieger; his children, Tracy Spillane (Mike) and Brian Wekamp of Jefferson City, MO.; his grandchildren, Kyle Spillane (Carla) of Jefferson City, MO., Sara Green (Aaron) of Jefferson City, MO., Rachel Spillane of Jefferson City, MO., Emily Spillane of Jefferson City, MO. and Katie Spillane of Jefferson City, MO.; and his great grandchildren, Will, Miles Spillane, Finley and Duncan Green.
