He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William F. Casey and Mary Casey (Bell) of Virginia; his wife Linda Casey; his stepsister Shara Graham of North Carolina; his nieces, Tammy Vessels of Kentucky, Connie Brandt of Linn and Vicky Nelson of Fulton; his nephew Bryan Boss of Bonnots Mill; his stepmother Jean Casey; his stepbrother Nick Lingo; his siblings-in-law, Bobby Ruggles and Joni Boss; and his niece Cindy Burrows.

“As a youth, my cousin Jim Casey was a Potosi, Washington County Missouri river and creek guide. During the summers through the 1950's, 60's and 70's, he took me and my sister Lynn Greene boating and floating around Southeastern Missouri. After we both retired, we worked on the Casey, Brickey and Bell genealogies in FamilySearch.org. Now he is spending time together with these folks and getting the stories firsthand. May his surviving wife Linda be comforted to know he is nearby. We love you.”
