He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Gibson, Sr. and Virginia Mae Gibson (Holliday); his father-in-law Gwynn E. Jost; and his brother-in-law Ronald G. Jost. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie F. Gibson; his daughter Sherry R. Thomas (Dewaine) of Jefferson City; his brother Robert L. Gibson (Sharon) of Jefferson City; his mother-in-law Frances Jost of Owensville; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Graves (Bill) of Jefferson City, Ruth Jost of Owensville and Donald Jost (Suzie) of Owensville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
