James Dalton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dalton of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Dalton and Ruby Dalton (Luse); his former wife Luana; and his brother Robert Dalton. He is survived by: his wife Esther Dalton (Eisterhold); his son Robert Dalton (Dorie) of Golden, CO; his stepchildren, Bryan Bax (Tracy) of Jefferson City, MO, Bruce Bax (Shelly) of Jefferson City, MO and Brooke Switzer (Brett) of Jefferson City, MO; his grandchildren, Clancy Dalton and Jack Dalton; his stepgrandchildren, Clayton Bax (Haley), Nick Bax, Lauren Bax, Braden Bax, Sam Switzer, Ethan Bax, Jake Switzer, Ben LeCure (Courtney), Alex and Nick LeCure; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Britton and Cohen.

Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of his life will be announced at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
