He is survived by: his wife Peggy Joyce Phillips; his children, Linda Mary Phillips of Springfield, John Ruben Phillips (Charlotte) of Union and Sam Scott Phillips of Columbia; and his grandchildren, April Dawn Phillips, Joel David Phillips, Amy Noelle Phillips, Adam Christian Phillips and Hamilton Price Phillips. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
