It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Pfenenger (Jefferson City, Missouri), born in New Bloomfield, Missouri, who passed away on October 22, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Peterson and Hattie Peterson (Blythe); and her siblings, Jesse Peterson Sr., Clayton Peterson, Claude Peterson, Blanche Wolf, Gladys "Pug" Edwards, Edythe Hartley and Loren Martin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Schaefer (Gerald Altheuser) of Tebbetts and Connie Schoen of Jefferson City; her stepchildren, John Pfenenger (Donna) of Windsor and Nancy Dilger (Harold) of Corpus Christy, Texas; and her grandchildren, Steve Schaefer (Becky), Michael Schaefer (Laura), Randy Schaefer (Staci), Michelle Lepper (Nathan), Debbie Cook and Lisa Pfenenger. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to Halo Jefferson City.
