He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Jean Barlow (Aust) and Gerald Barlow; and his nephew Jeremy Barlow. He is survived by: his wife Jane Barlow; his daughters, Sarah Broughton (Jared) of Blue Springs and Lesley Mathews (Joe) of Grain Valley; his brother Jeff Barlow (Susan) of Kansas City; his niece Jill Gockel (Eric) of Maryville; and his pet Bella.
