He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Rulland and Geraldine Wood (Heaton); his son Robert Wood; and his siblings, Eugene Wood, Edward Wood and Lillian Wood (Frank Pickens).
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Wood of Jefferson City; his children, Charles Wood (Tamie) of Warrenton, Gerald Wood (Tamitha) of Camdenton and Brenda Kolb (Tom) of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Cody Wood, Jessica Bockoven (Travis), Paige Schrimpf (Kyle), T. K. Kolb and Ben Kolb; his great grandchildren, Starr Wood, Trenton Bockoven, Jaxon Schrimpf, Maddox Schrimpf, Hayes Schrimpf and Easton Schrimpf; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Wood and Clydene Wood Terry; and his pets, Baby, Morkie, Winston, Shih and Tutsi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
