He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Hartsfield and Mamie Hartsfield (Lawfield); and his brothers, Alvis, Bobbie, Alton and Calvin Hartsfield.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Kindrick Hartsfield of Jefferson City, MO; his daughter Stacy Hartsfield; his son-in-law Curt Buhr; his grandchildren, Parker Buhr and Avery Buhr; his sisters, Mary Timmer of Eldon, MO, Joann McCurter of Bernie, MO and Betty Stegall of Dexter, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Gladys Hartsfield of Malden, MO and Norma Hartsfield of Malden, MO. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
