She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Brooks and Mary C. Hayden Brooks; her sons, Gary Nall and Jackie Nall; her siblings, Vernon (Tillie), Obert, Otis, William Brooks, Oleta O'Dear and Opal Bowen; and her son-in-law Richard Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband John; and her children, Doris Dede (Thomas) of Quincy, Linda Thomas of Mendon, Donna Young (Donald) of Rushville, IL, Gregory Nall (Barb) of Camp Point, IL and Gina Edwards (James) of Eldora, IA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
