He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester George and Alice Bushmann (Ward); his wife Janice Louise Bushmann (Long); and his siblings, Lester Bushmann of Jefferson City, Kenneth Bushmann of St. Louis and Shirley Hensley of St. Louis.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Lottie), Paul (Vicki) and Sara (Scott Howell) of Surry, Maine; his sisters, Patricia Mosby of Mavern and Judith Heilig of Houston, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Duncan Howell, Eleanor Howell, Emily Bushmann, Emma Bushmann, Ian Howell, Greg Bushmann, Melissa Bushmann, Olivia Bushmann and Peter Howell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson City Parks and Recreation Commission, 1299 Lafayette St, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
