Gary Scott Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Scott (Jefferson City, Missouri), who passed away on April 19, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Scott and Lillian Scott (Kuper); his grandson Matthew Dawdy; his uncle Homer Kuper; his nephew James Ralph Asberry; and his great-nephew John McCutchen.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Scott of Jefferson City; his children, Tina Marie Watson (Peter) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Lisa Rene Dawdy and Corey Kuper Scott (Tisha) of Jefferson City; his siblings, E. David Scott and Rita Penserum (Van) of Bonnots Mill; his grandchildren, Madeleine Watson, Daniel Watson, Elisabeth Hegner (Ben), Joshua Dawdy (Madison), Abigail Dawdy, Harrison Scott, Benjamin Scott and Jacob Scott; his great grandchildren, Adelee Hegner and Annabelle Dawdy; his nieces, Laura Pierce (Eric), Sarah Asberry, Deborah Campbell (John), Dawn Borland (Scott) and Stephanie Scott; and his great-niece Katie Brown. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private funeral service will be conducted in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Trevor Dancer officiating.
