We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2021, at the age of 83, Garry Chegwidden of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Sylvan Grove, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold J. Chegwidden and Elda E. Chegwidden (Meitler); his sister Denise Waymaster; and his daughters, Stephanie and Renee Chegwidden.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Chegwidden; his children, Philip Chegwidden (Tonya) of Ellsworth, KS, Michael Chegwidden (Donna) of Austin, TX, Joan Chegwidden (Michael Sizemore) of Kirksville, MO and Matthew Chegwidden (Anne) of Columbia, MO; his siblings, VerLee Utter (Bob) of Indiana and Shirley Michaundon (Andre) of New Mexico; and his grandchildren, Jenae, Blake, Grace, Stella, Max and Darcy Chegwidden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, Calvary Lutheran High School, Lutheran Family and Children's Services of Missouri, or Multiple Myeloma Foundation.
