He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Schubert and Frieda Schubert (Ott). He is survived by: his wife Marty; his daughter Susan Maupin (Mike) of Wildwood; his siblings, Betty Jungmeyer (Leland) of Jefferson City, Judy Todd (Jerry) of Lohman and Terry Schubert (Teresa); and his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Emily Maupin.
