She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Ott and Anna Ott (Hochberger); her daughter Herta Hicks; and her sister Traudl Bucholz. She is survived by: her children, Norbert Hofmann (Riki) of Germany, Rita Francesco (Jo) of Fulton and Johanna Hofmann of Jefferson City. She is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the risks presented by the Covid-19 virus, the family wishes to keep all services private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to "Friends of Music Scholarship Fund" through the University of Missouri School of Music, or to "Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri.".
