She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Toffel and Cornelia Toffel (Wester); her son Edward Carpenter; and her sister Elizabeth "Ely" Nanlohy. She is survived by: her daughter Robert Hoogveld (Vicki) of Arnold, MO; her brother Benno Nanlohy of Holland; her grandchildren, Eric, Michael, Spence, Eden, Denice, Jimmy, Jason, Michelle, Kenny, Tisha, Steven and Nessa; her close friends, Lori and Sydney; and also, Diane Hoogveld of Jefferson City, MO, Michael Hoogveld (Jennifer) of Jefferson City, MO, Carl Carpenter (Debbie) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kenneth Carpenter (Sheila) and Gary Carpenter.
