Elsie Strope Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Strope of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Rapp and Elsie Rapp (Krueger); her husband Leroy Strope; her daughter Kristi Eiken; her grandson Brandon Beemer; and her siblings, Otto Rapp, Jr., James Rapp and Mary Scarr.
She is survived by: her children, Dara Beemer (Brent) of Anchorage, Craig Strope (Karen) of Jefferson City, Brad Strope of Chesterfield and Ross Strope (Gail) of Jefferson City; her son-in-law Gary Eiken; her grandchildren, Blake Beemer, Zach Eiken, Matthew Strope, Kelly Maunu, Kelsie Strope, Allison Strope, Camryn Strope and Nate Strope; her sister Betty Volkmer (Paul); and her sisters-in-law, Martha Strope and Virginia Heckman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors (2613 W Main St, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in Bobbie's honor to the Helias Foundation or Faith Lutheran Church.
