It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Jane Kampeter (Jefferson City, Missouri), born in Saint Thomas, Missouri, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard J. Schell and Eleanore A. Schell (Fennewald); and her sisters, Patricia Schell and Carol Riley. She is survived by: her husband Rich; her children, Michael Kampeter (Paige), Thomas Kampeter (Julie), Ann Kampeter, John Kampeter (Heather) and Andy Kampeter (Karen); her siblings, Gary Schell (Millie) and Kathy Kliegel; her grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, Trey, Jacob, Claire Kampeter-Benne, Alex, Allison, Kate and Ava Kampeter; and her great grandchildren, Reese, Gwynn and Hank Kampeter.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Benedict's Abbey (1020 N. 2nd Street Atchison, Kansas 66002).
