She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Borgelt and Edna Borgelt; and her sister Gladys Linnenbringer. She is survived by: her husband Harold Duane Smith; her sons, Mark Smith (Deidre), Paul Smith (Deborah) and Kevin Smith (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Cameron Smith, Melinda Smith, Kristen Keglovits (Joshua) and Ryan Smith (Katherine); her great grandchild Ellie Keglovits; and her siblings, Clifford Borgelt and Jayne Boeckelman.
The general public is welcome to attend services while following social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Lutheran Braille Workers, in care of Faith Lutheran Church or to Faith Lutheran Church.
