It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Clemons of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Stewart and Mary Stewart (Turner); and her siblings, Virgilia Campbell, Joyce Campbell, Samantha Mitchell and Lillie White.
She is survived by: her sons, James Clemons, Jr. (Karen) and Levorne "Von" Clemons of Peoria, IL; her granddaughter Sydney Clemons; and her sisters, Denise Stewart (Jerome) of Chicago, IL and Janette Jones of Chicago, IL..
