He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Champlain and Elizabeth Champlain (Hoffman); his siblings, Susan Champlain and Joe Dean Champlain; his in-laws, Arthur and Bernice Eads; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Nobbman, Marvin Wekamp and Marilyn Bexten.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Champlain; his daughters, Julie Herigon (Chris Lueckenotte) and Jessica Riggs (Eric); his grandchildren, Grant, Grace, Grady and Arthur; his siblings, Marilyn Nobbman, Margaret Wekamp, Linda Oliver (Keith), Sharon Dashtaki (Hossein) and Mike Champlain (Lana); and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Dein (Bob), Tom Eads (Kay), Bob Eads (Cheryl) and Eddie Bexten. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
