He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Hahne (Benz) and Daniel Hahne; and his close friend Robert Holt. He is survived by: his significant other Joshua Dunne; his godchildren, Dale Kurrelmeyer, Vicki Benz and Amanda Benz; his cousins, Larry Benz, Carol Koestner (Benz), Debbie Kottwitz (Kurrelmeyer) and Doug Kurrelmeyer; and his friend Harry Braun.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors (2613 W Main St, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association or Building Community Bridges.
