He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Osgoode and Edna Osgoode (Teague); his brother Dennis Osgoode; and his close friend Gary Seabourne. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Osgoode of Alabama, Samuel Osgoode of Montana, Joseph Osgoode (Ron Nurenburg) of Mississippi, Terry Mann of California and Mark Osgoode of Georgia; his nieces, Kristen, Kimberly and Kelli; and his close friends, Bernice Holtmeyer, Janet, Bill Holt and Marcia Seabourne.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in Wayne's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN or the charity of the donor's choice.

“When and I were good friends for so many years. We had lost contact and I was looking for him to maybe reconnect. Instead I found his obituary. I was so sorry to hear about his passing. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and friends. I loaded a picture from our trip to Atlanta many years ago. I miss him coming to our Christmas Eve parties. “Wayne was a long standing and much valued member of The Salvation Army Advisory Board in Jefferson City. He served with so much faithfulness as members of both this board and as a proud Lion that he was honored with one of The Salvation Army’s highest awards - The OTHERS award in 2016. He was loved by Salvation Army leaders throughout our recent history and will be much missed. Our sympathy goes out to his family and all who called him a friend and fellow Lion.”
