He was predeceased by: his parent Bessie Smith; his nephew Quantrell Robertson; and his cousin Dorthia Eldridge. He is survived by: his wife Penelope "Penny" Smith of Jefferson City; his siblings, Teira Jefferson (Harold Nesbit) of Jefferson City, Doris Jean Grace (Larry Smith) of Jefferson City, Cecilia White (Scott) of Jefferson City and Ceasar Smith of Atlanta, Georgia; and his sister-in-law Priscilla Lynn Kerbrat (Joel). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
