It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel J. McVey of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh McVey and Ellen McVey (Nestor); and his siblings, Mary Ellen Daniels, Hugh "Bob" McVey and John "Jack" McVey.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Paden; and his children, Daniel McVey (Tammy), David McVey (Sherri), John McVey (Ashley), Patrick McVey (Angie), Lynn Flaim (Mike), Karen Hutcheson (Hal), Beth Thurman (Rex), Mary Shackelford (Tiger) and Cheryl Thruston (Jim). He is also survived by thirteen grandsons; thirteen granddaughters; 24 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
