He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Pearl Garriott (Nichols); his wife Jacqueline; his daughter-in-law Robyn Andrews; his parent Orvey Garriott; and his siblings, Eugene, Orvey, Barbara and Lena Belle.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Garriott of Lincoln, Sarah Carpenter (Vernie) of Corning, Ark and Jon Garriott (Sara) of Jefferson City; his brother David Garriott of Callaway County; and his grandchildren, Kristin Kelly, Malissa Lindquist (Nathan), Courtney Clarke (Mike), Nathan Garriott (Autumn Bush), Rachel Janes (Matt Conway), Emily DaVault (David), Matt Carpenter (Kelsey), Julie Zerby (Joe), Ben Garriott (Meara Perkins) and Montana Green (Dakota Proctor). He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
