He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Effie Johnson (Runkle); his wife Eileen Johnson; his son Michael Johnson; his sister Mildred Swackhamer; and his niece Kathy Potter.
He is survived by: his daughter Crissy Wilson (Dexter) of Jefferson City; his daughter-in-law Gloria Johnson of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Andrew Johnson, Crystal Johnson and Rebecca Seward (Greg); his great grandchildren, Lilly, Gwen, Evie and Lucas Seward; his niece Ruthi Sturdevant (Craig) of Jefferson City; and his nephews, Bob Swackhamer (Jean) and Tom Swackhamer (Debby).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice Compassus.
