He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Butler; his sons, Shawn Schaffer (Jordan) and Bradley Schaffer (Candace Stevens); his siblings, Mildred Buehrlen (Johnny), Bernadine Ousley (Richard), Louella Stuart, Alfred Schaffer Jr., Conrad Schaffer, Eugene Schaffer, Johnetta Schaffer, Kim Schaffer (Mike Bauer), Milissa Brinker (Jerry) and Alvin Schaffer; his granddaughters, Taylor, Avery and Addie Schaffer; his great grandchild Britton Lecure; and his sister-in-law Ronda Carrender (Terry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
