It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charleen Newman (Jefferson City, Missouri), born in Jackson, Missouri, who passed away on August 8, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer H. Luehring and Elizabeth L. Luehring (Lishman); her husband Charles A. Newman; and her sister Marilyn Young. She is survived by: her sons, Stephen G. Newman (Tammy) of Jefferson City and Daniel A. Newman of St. Louis, MO; her granddaughters, Jessie, Rachel and Mary Grace Newman; her stepmother Iola Luehring; and her siblings, Elmer L. Luehring and Arleen L. Shadrach. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, Jefferson City, MO, and the Heisinger Bluffs Benevolent Care Fund.
