With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Reed of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Freeburg, Missouri, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Kloeppel and Dora Kloeppel (Bauer); her husband John; her children, James Reed and Ruthie Reed; and her grandchildren, John W. "Jay" Reed III and Kathi Ann Smith.
She is survived by: her children, John W. Reed, Jr. (Prudence) of Jefferson City, David L. Reed (Dianne) of Brazito, Judy Kay Smith of Jefferson City, Debbie Sessler (John) of Auxvasse, Sandy Nichols of Jefferson City, Randy Reed of Columbia and Bob Reed of Jefferson City. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Cathedral.
