Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carolyn Bening (Jefferson City, Missouri), born in El Monte, California, who passed away at the age of 77, on March 27, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Hutteger and Wiona Hutteger (Meyr); her brothers-in-law, Clyde Voelkel, Wayne Bening and Norbert Bening; her niece Sarah Smith Coon; and her nephew David Bening.

She is survived by: her husband Dennis Bening; her daughter Jennifer Zimmer (Randy); her siblings, Lyle Hutteger (Susan) and Cynthia Lewis; her sisters-in-law, Elverna Voelkel and LaVerne Bening; her grandchildren, Zachary and Adeline Zimmer; and her children, Andres Ramirez of Chile, Davide Lazzari of Italy, Aurora Lucie Henriksen of Norway and Sumiran Singh Parmar of India. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to a nonprofit foundation to be established in her name. Donations will be received by Freeman Mortuary at P.O. Box 95, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102.
