It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Poteat of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald L. Gray and Viola Gray (Hansen); her brother Gerald Gray (Ida); and her grandson Sam Blackwell. She is survived by: her daughters, Cappie Blackwell of Jefferson City and Laura Poteat of San Diego, Calif.; and her grandchildren, Abbey Loraine (Kyle) of Jefferson City and Ben Blackwell of Jefferson City.
