She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion F. Keithley and Sylvia B. Keithley (King); and her former husband Ralph McCormick. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Haynes; her sons, Ralph Haynes (Janine) of Jefferson City, MO and J. Haynes (Beth) of Kingston, Jamaica; her sister Phyllis Bannister (Larry) of Boaz, MO; her grandchildren, Leiha Bohannon (Bo), Keith Haynes (Andrea), Joel Haynes, Noah Haynes (Jordan), Amelia and Natalia Haynes; her great grandchildren, Jane, Bobby and Henry Bohannon; and her sister-in-law Suzie Wilhite (Jerry).

Box 95, Jefferson City, MO 65102. These contributions will go towards a project in Hale's library or park honoring her commitment to educating generations of Hale's youth.
